Ski area Winter Park Resort

Winter Park Resort in short

  • Average yearly snowfall almost 9m
  • Long ski season thanks to snow cannons
  • 300 days of sunshine a year

Located just outside of Denver, Colorado, Winter Park Resort boasts 143km of slopes and altitudes of up to 3676m. Intermediate-friendly Parsenn Bowl is home to North America’s highest 6-passenger chairlift and grants spectacular panoramic views of the surrounding mountain peaks. Experts can take a snowcat to access even more spectacular off-piste terrain.

The ski area at Winter Park Resort is divided into 7 sections. Although the sections can be roughly broken down by skill level, Winter Park is great for mixed-ability groups as many chairs have an easy, intermediate and advanced option. An 8km run in Parsenn Bowl, legendary moguls through the trees at Mary Jane and Eagle Wind and 7 snow parks including a superpipe will keep skiers and snowboarders busy for days here.
