Copper Mountain in short
-
3 pedestrian-only villages
-
Easily reachable from Denver Airport
-
Over 125km of slopes
The base areas is really a cluster of three villages: East Village, Center Village and West Village. West Village is the best pick for beginners thanks to its proximity to the ski schools and nursery slopes. Center Village has most of the action, including a handful of charming shops and mouthwatering candy stores; and East Village is the best location from which to access the more challenging terrain.
The ski area at Copper Mountain offers some enticing terrain to explore and is suitable for a variety of ability levels. A great way to get to know the mountain is by booking one of the free mountain tours. On rainy days or if you just want to practise your skills, the Woodward indoor training facility in the village has skate parks, trampolines and everything else to keep adrenaline junkies busy for hours. Copper Mountain is a one-and-a-half-hour drive from Denver International Airport.
