The Scuol ski area has become so popular, so quickly that unfortunately, the many new hotels have almost completely blocked the view of its original, traditional buildings. However, this thermal spa village has a strong reputation with an a very healthy atmosphere. The splendid, sunny ski slopes, well-equipped for children, offer the right run for every type of skier and with the shuttle service, visitors can even reach Samnaun and Davos opening up endless skiing and snowboarding possibilities for all tastes and levels.
The 80km of ski slopes on offer here are equally divided out between blue and red runs with a light sprinkling of blacks just to keep the experts satisfied! One of the most appreciated runs here is the 12km long Traumpiste (which means Dream Run) a good, medium difficulty run for strong intermediate skiers with plenty of stamina. There are 77km of prepared cross-country tracks around Scuol making this paradise for cross-country skiing fanatics. Kids can learn to ski while having fun in the excellent Kinderland Nalunsin daycare centre.
