Ski area Leysin

Leysin in short

  • Height: 1253 - 2205 metres
  • Not entirely guaranteed snow
  • Clear, compact ski area
  • Less suitable for advanced skiers

Leysin is a winter sports resort with three different faces: the traditional village with its old wooden houses, the imposing thermal hotel complex dating back to the pre-war period, and the modern, more recent architecture. In terms of ski infrastructure, no doubt remains: with two cablecars, many chair lifts and ski lifts, the Leysin ski region is truly ideal for those in search of rest and peace and quiet. Snowboarding is extremely popular here, representing almost 40% of visitor presence.
