Ski areas Eastern Switzerland
Ostschweiz, or East Switzerland, lies on the eastern side of the Glarus Alps. It is home to a number of fine ski resorts - especially some smaller, quiet areas that the big winter sports crowds have not yet discovered.
An excellent choice for winter holidays in East Switzerland is Bad Ragaz. This village and ski resort is also known as a health resort, giving you the option to combine exercise and relaxation in perfect harmony. The village is protected by the Pizol mountain. But there are also other lovely areas in the region, such as Braunwald, which is an excellent destination for families.
