Ski areas Central Switzerland
Zentralschweiz, or in English, Central Switzerland, is located right in the middle of the country. This area comprises a number of cantons, with the city of Lucerne as its urban centre. In this region, you can visit both the cities and several ski resorts with beautiful villages. For example, Engelberg is not far from Lucerne and is quite a leading holiday resort. There you can enjoy challenging slopes and excellent snow conditions.
Other regional ski resorts include Andermatt-Sedrun, a popular winter sports destination, and the stunning Sörenberg. The latter offers relatively affordable options in a peaceful and quiet environment.
