Bellwald is a small Swiss ski resort that has managed to keep its alpine traditions despite increasing tourism. The Belwaled ski area gives access to a fantastic cross-country skiing circuit and 100 kilometres of superbly prepared downhill ski runs with something for all levels and tastes.
With guaranteed snow on its slopes, which lie between 1600m and 2560m above sea level, this ski area offers a wide variety of ski slopes, some of which offer impressive views on the famous Matterhorn mountain. You can find steep slopes on the plateau of Steibechriz whereas the fields of Fleschen offer pleasant, easy skiing more suitable for beginners and families. Snowboarders can have a great time in the Bellwald snow park and children have thier own “snow garden”. This beautiful area has been certified with the label “families welcome” because of the excellent facilities for younger guests.
