Pradollano (Spain)

Pradollano is part of the municipality of Monachil, located at an altitude of 2100 meters in the southern Spanish region of Andalusia, amidst the Sierra Nevada mountain range. Surrounded by many peaks reaching three thousand meters, you can experience a winter sport full of snow and sun here. From Pradollano, several ski lifts provide access to the Sierra Nevada ski resort, also known as Solynieve, boasting over 112 km of slopes.

Established in 1964 by the city of Granada, Pradollano offers a blend of old-world charm and modern high-rise buildings, many of which are built into the mountainside, resulting in varying elevations throughout the area. With the sun shining approximately 80% of the year, visitors can often expect sunny conditions during their winter sports holiday. The village center boasts a variety of shops, as well as several inviting bars, restaurants, and cafes, many equipped with spacious terraces bustling with activity, particularly on weekends when Spanish visitors flock to the ski resort, resulting in lively slopes.
