Formigal is a largest ski resort in the Spanish Pyrenees with around 130 km of varied ski slopes for all levels spread over 4 valleys. The Formigal ski area is also close to the French border and only a train ride from Barcelona airport. Formigal is part of the Aramon ski area. Recent investment has meant that the ski lift system in Formigal is now fast and efficient meaning you can enjoy even more of the wonderful slopes on your ski holidays.
The Formigal ski area itself is situated between 1510 meters and 2250 meters of altitude. The ski area has a good choice of ski slopes for all levels as it has 27 km of blue runs, 47 km of red runs and 54 km of black runs where expert skiers and snowboarders will certainly not get bored. There's even a special snow park for the kids and one for adults too with all the necessary trimmings. There is also a 600 meter long boarder cross with banks and jumps in the Furco part of the Formigal ski area. It is also possible to try night skiing on some of the slopes in Formigal. There's certainly everything you need here to spend an unforgettable ski holiday with family or friends.
