Ski area Sirdal

Sirdal in short

  • Height: 500 - 920 metres
  • Lovely cross-country trails
  • Snow park
  • Plenty of alternate activities

Sirdal is divided into four different ski areas: Tjørhomfjellet, Alsheia Skisenter, Fildjeland Skitrekk en Adneram Skitrekk. In total the ski resort has around 20km of slopes that are suitable for beginners as well as advanced skiers. As with many ski resorts in Norway, Sirdal has a wonderful offering of cross-country trails.

Sirdal Ski Resort only reaches an altitude of 924m, but boasts guaranteed snow all season long. Highly recommended are the dogsledding tours. There are also three mountain restaurants in the ski area, two of which have special children's play areas. Sirdal in general is very child-friendly, with two children's zones that are accessible free of charge. In addition to the ski school at Huldreheimen, there is also a free rope tow and magic carpet. The fun park on blue piste #16 has a number of fun features that kids will enjoy. Cross-country skiers have 180km of trails with which to explore the beautiful Norwegian countryside, including the Sinnesvatnet and Valevatn lakes.
