Sauze d'Oulx (Italy)

Sauze d'Oulx is one of the 5 ski resorts in the Via Lattea, or Milky Way ski area, as it is more commonly known. British skiers have been coming to Sauze d'Oulx for years and return many times to enjoy the superb skiing, long hours of sunshine and wide range of apres-ski entertainment. Sauze d'Oulx is one of the larger ski resorts in the Milky Way ski area so you have a good choice of bars and restaurants.

Besides the stylish and vibrant nightlife Sauze offers almost unlimited skiing on the 400 kilometers of slopes of the largest ski area in Italy, the Via Lattea . The area has less to offer snowboarders, cross-country skiers and hikers. Sauze is not expensive compared to similar resorts. Most of the not too difficult red runs are on the sunny side of the ski resort and the lower slopes run through the woods. From Monte Fraitève you can reach the ski resorts of Sestrière, Sansicario, Cesana and Claviere.
