Claviere is a quiet village in the Milky Way ski area unlike Cesana on the other side of the Colle Bercia. From Claviere it is possible to ski to the French ski resort of Montgenevre. The ski area between Cesana and Claviere is called the Monti della Luna and is named this way because of the unusual and spectacular scenery. There are two cross-country skiing trails in Claviere. One starts at the Italian customs point, the other at the French customs point!
