Schöneben-Haideralm: skiing with a view of the Reschensee
With the construction of the St. Valentin - Schöneben Bahn and Höllentalbahn, a connection between the small ski area of Haideralm and family ski resort Schöneben has been established. Unique to Schöneben-Haideralm is its location near the Reschensee lake, Lago di Resia in Italian. This reservoir was once created after the construction of a dam in 1950, which flooded the former village of Graun. The bell tower in the middle of the lake is a reminder of this. From several points in the ski area you have a great view of the lake and the tower.
