This enchanting ski resort is situated on Lake Alleghe surrounded by the peaks of the Civetta and the glaciers of the Marmolada. Fortunately, the peacefulness of this area has remained intact and prices are particularly affordable. The Ski Civetta ski area is located in the north-eastern part of the province of Belluno and includes the valleys of Alleghe, Zoldo, Selva di Cadore and Palafavera. Regardless of the relatively low altitudes in this area, there is never a lack of snow thanks to the powerful snowmaking equipment that takes over when necessary.
The great variety of runs in this ski area, totalling nearly 80km, makes it perfect for both beginners and the more advanced skier. The ski slopes are quite short and are generally not very steep... This area is included in the Dolomite SuperSki pass that connects 1200km of runs across the entire Dolomite mountain region. You can access this vast ski area by catching the free ski bus which takes you to the ski slopes of Marmolada and then onto Arabba... This ski area is child and disabled-friendly with plenty of well-adapted facilities. If you just can't bear to leave the slopes at the end of the day, there are 5 floodlit runs at Val Zoldana where you can continue skiing long into the evening and one of the snowparks stays open at night too so snowboarders can carry on having fun!
