Arabba is a quiet, traditional resort untouched by mass tourism. The panoramic views of the Sella massif and the perennial snow of the Marmolada are of indescribable beauty and will stop you in your tracks. Marmolada is a famous ski resort at the foot of the Marmolada glacier, which at 3342 metres of altitude, is the highest mountain in the Dolomites and is known as the "Queen of the Dolomites". This resort represents one of the strategic connection points of the Dolomiti Superski area and it is a good departure point for the legendary "Sella Ronda" circuit, which links four valleys and also boasts some of the world's most spectacular mountain scenery.
The ski area of Arabba-Marmolada itself has just over 60km of very varied ski slopes with, in particular, a high number of blue and red runs for beginners and intermediate skier to spend long days practicing. There are some excellent black runs to challenge even the most advanced skiers but there are also slopes well equipped for children making this is an ideal holiday spot for all snow lovers. The ski slopes are all sunny and there is certainly no lack of snow here in this ski area thanks to the nearby glacier and high altitudes.
