Ski area Ammergauer Alpen

Beautiful Oberammergau, the ski resort known throughout the world for The Mystery of Passion, holds many other attractions for visitors. Steep ski slopes and wide forested descents make this region suitable for skilled skiers. In the nearby ski area of Kolbensattel the ski slopes are less steep and gently descend towards the valley. Not forgetting of course, the cross-country trails near Ettal and Oberammergau which have a good reputation. However, the activities don’t end here: visitors can enjoy splendid walks, visit beautiful castles and monasteries, or simply admire the nature surrounding its many lakes.
