Dolleren is a small ski resort in the Haut-Rhin region in Alsace. The resort is situated in beautiful scenery surrounded by mountains and fields. Only around 450 people live in Dolleren, making this the perfect choice for a peaceful ski holiday. The name Dolleren comes from the river Doller which means "running water" in Celtic.
The resort of Dolleren has a few facilities for tourists such as hotels, ski appartments and an auberge. The village centre has a lovely, authentic atmosphere thanks to its traditional houses. The best (but also only) restaurant in Dolleren is the Auberge du Schlumpf where you can try some delicious specialties from Alsace. Dolleren is located at the foot of the Schlumpf ski area. Bear in mind that you cannot rent ski equipment in Dolleren.
