The Saint Pierre de Chartreuse ski area is located in the heart of the Chartreuse mountain range in Isere only 30 minutes away from Grenoble. Saint Pierre de Chartreuse is an ideal ski resort for weekend skiing or first time ski holidays for families with young children.
Saint Pierre de Chartreuse is the largest ski area in the Chartreuse, surrounded by breathtaking mountain peaks and forests. The area is especially suitable for children and beginners, but advanced skiers and off-piste fanatics can also enjoy their stay here. From the center of the ski resort of Saint Pierre de Chartreuse, a gondola lift takes you up to the beginning of the ski area where there area three green pistes which are wonderful for beginners and children taking their first steps on the snow. More experienced skiers can take a chairlift to the top of the ski area which reaches an altitude of 1789 meters above sea level. A total of 35 km of pistes await you in this lovely, varied ski area. Four black runs, nine red runs, five blue and six green runs offer a good choice of skiers and snowboarders of all levels. Throughout the ski area there are 16 lifts. Along the ski slopes, there are four restaurants. The rest of the restaurants and bars can be found in the ski resort. Saint Pierre de Chartreuse also organizes many events, making it a fun and lively ski with cozy apres-ski.
