Below the historical village of Roubion, is the Roubion-les-Buisses ski area. This family-friendly ski area is only 1 hour drive from Nice making it the ideal choice for weekend ski breaks. The Roubion-les-Buisses ski area is situated between altitudes of 1410 meters and 1920 meters above sea level.

The Roubion-les-Buisses ski area has about 30 km of slopes, 2 green, 5 blue, 12 red and 2 black runs. The area is perfect for beginners, because the slopes are fairly quiet. Advanced skiers can also find challenges on the many red runs and 2 black runs. There are a total of 8 drag lifts and one chair lift. Roubion-les-Buisses lies at the bottom of the village of Roubion, which was built up on the rock face. You will find some restaurants here but no lively apres-ski which makes it a great place for peaceful family ski holidays.
