Pra-Loup (France)

The French ski resort of Pra-Loup is situated on a beautiful wooded plateau near Barcelonnette. The ski resort itself is not particularly attractive with some rather bleak high-rise blocks which often give French ski resorts a, usually undeserved, bad name.

However, Pra-Loup's ski area covering about 160 kilometres of wonderful ski slopes makes you forget about any of the negative points. Besides the unattractive visual aspect, the ski resort itself is not dull at all - there really is plenty to do here for the whole family. People tend to eat late in Pra-Loup which means nightlife gets going much later. If you are an early bird, you can enjoy wonderfully calm mornings up on the pristine ski slopes. The ski area is shared with neighbouring ski resorts of La Foux-d'Allos and Val d'Allos 1800 La Foux.
