Montchavin Les Coches (France)

Montchavin and Les Coches are two ski resorts in the large French ski area of Paradiski, located at altitudes of 1250 and 1450 metres respectively. Montchavin is a genuine Tarentaise village just below Les Coches. Montchavin and Les Coches both have a reasonable selection of après-ski bars and other nightlife. In Montchavin the Camp de Base Cafe is popular in the early evening with the nightclub l'Oxygene opening later for those who want to dance the night away. In Les Coches the Last One Pub, La Poze music bar and Le Shooter's are generally pretty busy.

There are plenty of other activities in the area such as the Olympic bobsleigh run in La Plagne which you can reach by shuttle bus from Montchavin. There's also an huge ice skating rink near Les Coches which is often open in the evenings, a cinema in Montchavin, snowshoe hikes and dog sleigh rides.
