Ski in ski out resort
Because the ski resort of Le Corbier was founded after the surrounding hills had already been used as a ski area for quite some time, most accommodation is favourably located with regard to the ski slopes offering great ski-in, ski-out options. This is not the most attractive ski resort due to its rather out-of-date apartment blocks, however, the practical side makes you quickly forget this aspect. Most blocks have shops and services on the ground floor which make life easy while on your ski holidays with family or friends.
The medium-sized ski area of Le Corbier consists primarily of green, blue and red ski slopes, making it very suitable for beginners and intermediate skiers and families with young children. Those who need more of a challenge will undoubtedly venture off the marked runs where there are a few good off-piste tracks. Those looking for more challenging ski slopes will need to venture further into the Les Sybelles ski area.
