Les Sept Laux is a ski resort in the Belledonne mountain range only 35 km away from Grenoble making it a great choice for weekend skiing breaks. Les Sept Laux consists of three different areas, two of which are on the side of the Isere (Prapoutel and Pipay ) and one on the other side of the mountain (Le Pleynet).
The three parts of Les Sept Laux are located at altitudes of 1050 meters between 1350 meters and 2400 meters above sea level. The ski resort of Les Sept Laux was created in 1971, but for a long time it had a bad image because of old lifts and uncertain snow conditions. To change this image, Les Sept Laux renovated its lift system and installed snow cannons and a snow park. In the Prapoutel part of the resort you will find most of the ski accommodation and restaurants. Here you will also find a shopping center, a cinema and a spa. Pipay is more for day skiers who come from the local areas as there is only one restaurant and a ski hire shop. In Pleynet (other side of the mountain) you can find many hotels, ski apartments and shops. You can also find more activities than just skiing in Les Sept Laux, namely snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, ice climbing and dog sledding. Everything you need for the perfect ski holidays.
