The village of Morbier sits on a hillside in a picturesque location. In the background is a huge train bridge. Morbier has a number of monuments, such as the parish church of Saint - Michel which includes a special organ. The village has a number of cozy restaurants and several chalets and B&Bs. The apres-ski in Morbier is very quiet but you don't come to this area to party the night away. Just 4 km away from Morbier you will find the tiny Les Gentianes ski area with a few restaurants on the slopes. It is primarily a beginners area and this makes Morbier especially suited for families with young children on their first ski holiday.
