The Cordon ski area is also known as the balcony of Mont Blanc, because of the beautiful views you have of this notoriously famous mountain from the ski area's slopes. The ski area is located near the eponymous village, between altitudes of 1000 meters and 1600 meters.
The Cordon ski area focuses on families and beginners. There are no black runs, but 6 kilometers of red runs, 4 kilometers of blue runs and one green run a kilometer long. The ski area is accessible by 6 ski lifts. The area has 19 snow cannons and about 40% of the area consists of artificial snow. On the slopes, there are three restaurants. If the Cordon ski area doesn't offer enough challenges for you, you can easily visit the Evasion Mont-Blanc ski area! For cross-country skiing fanatics there are 240 km of cross-country trails in the surrounding ski resorts and the large ski area of Mont Blanc.
