Ski area Chamrousse

Chamrousse in short

  • Height: 1400 - 2250 metres
  • Great for families
  • Tree-lined slopes
  • Stunning views

The former Olympic village of Chamrousse is only a 30 minute drive from Grenoble, making it one of the most accessible ski resorts in the Alps. Chamrousse is made up of two modern satellite resorts, Le Recoins (1650m) and Roches Beranger (1750m). The two are connected by ski lifts, cablecars, and ski runs. Chamrousse offers marvellous landscapes and is suitable for families.

This ski area in France offers 70km of varied, sheltered slopes and pretty tree-lined runs. The ski area is divided into a section for skilled skiers and one for beginners. Of these slopes, 6 are green runs, 15 are blue runs, 7 are red runs and 7 are black runs. The ski resort of Chamrousse offers panoramic spots and is ideal for family ski holidays. There are limited facilities for snowboarders here except, of course, the wonderful slopes!
