The Cirque du Lys part of the Cauterets ski area is where you will find some fantastic alpine skiing. There are more than 20 runs spread over 39 km of pistes and three freestyle areas. The Cauterets ski area lies between 1730 and 2415 meters above sea level and generally has good snow conditions. The Pont d' Espagne part of the Cauterets ski area is where you can enjoy some great cross-country skiing, snowshoeing tours or sledging. This part of the ski area is beautiful, with small lakes and fairytale waterfalls. A cable car leaves directly from the center of Cauterets to the ski area. There is a snowpark and a boardercross so snowboarders can have some fun here too.
