The ski area of Alpe du Grand Serre has around 55km of slopes and is located at an altitude of 2184 meters. The slopes are varied with plenty of choice for everyone from beginners to experts. For those just starting out on the slopes, there are easy runs at the bottom of the valley. Experts will find challenging slopes up around the peak of the Perollier and the Col du Parche.
The slopes of Alpe du Grand Serre can be reached by the cable cars La Ruinnes and La Blache. After a short run down you take the Serriou cable car and then you will find the whole ski area at your feet. Any skier or snowboarder will find their perfect ski run here – the famous black run La Roue or the wonderful blue run Les Lacs – whatever your level, there is something for you. For cross-country skiing fans there are also 20km of trails around Alpe du Grand Serre.
