Bustling resort with regular events
The Canadian ski resort of Whistler in British Columbia is on most skiers’ bucket lists and gained even more international renown after the 2010 Winter Olympics. But it’s not just the skiing: you’ll feel instantly at home here, where a friendly, lively atmosphere reigns in the resort centre’s stylish restaurants, bars and nightclubs. Whistler is the Canadian hotspot for après-ski and you can keep the party going all night long here if you want!
Whistler is a ski-in, ski-out resort so you can enjoy the luxury of skiing back to your doorstep at the end of the day. The Whistler-Blackcomb ski area leads back to three bases: Creekside, Village and Upper Village. Be careful you don’t accidentally ski back to the wrong one or else you’ll find yourself facing a fifteen-minute walk! Although, a walk through this winter wonderland doesn’t exactly feel like a punishment. If you fancy a day off from skiing there are many activities to enjoy such as ice skating, horse-drawn carriage rides or simply watching one of the many events held in the resort. If you prefer to relax after an active day on the slopes, there is a wellness centre in Whistler with several spas for full beauty treatments, massages or unwinding in the sauna. Whistler has a choice of beautiful, luxurious hotels and apartments, to make your ski holidays on Canada's West Coast just that little extra special.
