The huge Sun Peaks ski area is sprawled across three mountain peaks, where beginners and experts alike will find what they’re looking for. Getting from one peak to another is hassle-free and you’ll have a blast shredding the deep powder, whether on the groomers, glades, steeps or bumps. With 135 pistes and three terrain parks, Sun Peaks is the perfect size to spend a few days or a week with the family, without being too overwhelming.
Top-notch Sun Peaks Sports School gives ski and snowboard lessons and performance clinics with highly trained instructors. Ski with famous Canadian Olympian Nancy Greene Raine or another Sun Host, who will show you the mountain’s best-kept secrets. For those who can’t get enough, there is heli-skiing available, as well as 37km of Nordic trails with lovely views of the mountains. To get here, take a flight to Vancouver or Calgary, and from there to Kamloops. Shuttle buses run to Sun Peaks from both Vancouver and Kamloops.
