Located in the heart of the Powder Highway, Panorama ski resorts markets itself as 'Pure Canada'. True to form, this Canadian ski resort boasts steep ‘n deep skiing through the trees on the legendary North American champagne powder. Panorama Mountain Resort ranks among the top three ski resorts in Canada for vertical rise and has views all the way to the Rocky Mountains on clear days. As it’s tucked away in interior BC, lift queues here are virtually nonexistent.
As far as skiing and snowboarding goes, Panorama has something for every level. The Discovery Zone is perfect for beginners and families, and intermediate skiers and snowboarders can practise turn after turn on the groomed fall-line cruisers. Advanced skiers will be in paradise, from the tree-lined Extreme Dream Zone and the Taynton Bowl (formerly only accessible by helicopter) to the newly opened Monster area, with its incredible steeps (accessible by snowcat tow). Panorama gets an average of 5m of snowfall yearly and the season lasts from December to April.
