Val Thorens is well known for being a ski resort that likes to party! Along with an already pretty lively nightlife, this ski resort is proud to host the only free electro festival in the Alps! For the 6th edition of this electro music festival, there's an exciting and electrifying program, mixing different styles of electro, house, techno, trance, low and much more...
So if you like to mix winter sports and partying, then don’t miss the "FESTI VAL THO 2013" in Val Thorens – it promises to be even wilder than the previous 5 festivals.
So where and when's it happening?
This event is hosted by “Focus Event Prod” and “FG DJ Radio” and is 3 consecutive days of partying from the 26th to the 28th of March 2013. The festival takes place in a unique environment at the famous 360° bar at the Chalets du Thorens, the largest chalet on the slopes in Europe at 2300m! You can ski directly to the dance floor and it won’t be just the altitude that will make your head spin!
The Warm Up sessions start at 12 noon each day and the last track ends at 6pm!
So what’s it all about then?
For a little taster of what lies in wait for you, go to the Official website and watch the short film put together after last year’s festival - you’ll have a pretty good idea of what this festival is all about!
The line up
If this is your idea of the perfect holiday, then come and enjoy the wild atmosphere right in the heart of the largest ski area in the world - snow, sun, pro riders and an awesome line up of DJs – what more could you ask for? Global Deejays, DJ Getdown and Michael Canitrot are among the line up of DJs along with Dirty Bad Unit and Replay among the Warm Up session talent!
This is not just a festival for the ears; there are some rather stunning performers who will attract your attention while you’re wondering whether you should lend them your ski jacket to keep warm!
Accessible to everyone
If you like the idea of trying out this festival but you’re immediately put off by the prices in Val Thorens, then don’t forget there are many possibilities to stay in the smaller resorts on the edge of the 3 Valleys ski area such as
Orelle,
La Tania
and
Courchevel Le Praz
where you will find much more reasonably priced accommodation, ski hire and restaurants.
And don’t forget, the festival is completely FREE! Join us on
