It's finally snowing properly in the Alps! The French Alps and the Pyrenees are expecting the snow line to drop as low as 1000m in some places, and the snowfall is expected to continue through Sunday, with forecasts calling for up to 20cm in certain ski resorts, and a snowline that might even drop down below 1000m. It's also snowing in the higher Austrian and Swiss ski resorts, where the glaciers are finally looking ready for ski season. We've already had a few snowfalls this year but this one might be the real deal, just in time for ski season opening! This will be welcome news for anyone with ski holidays booked in November or December!
