From Austria to France, ski resorts across the Alps will be putting on their glad rags and revelling all night long on the 31st of December. Whether you’re more interested in fireworks or fancy clubs, there’s something for everyone on this list. And of course, it’s the peak of ski season, so you should be able to get some shredding in as well. Don’t be the only one to miss out on a spectacular New Year’s Eve in the Alps!

1. St. Anton

Eco-conscious revellers can enjoy a firework-free New Year’s Eve at the village centre in St. Anton am Arlberg. As early as 8pm there will be a family-friendly laser and sound show, followed by an adult version later on. Entry is free but the organisers encourage guests to donate money instead of investing in fireworks, which are full of chemicals and scare away the animals.
