Glacier skiing is up and running at Tignes
Mother Nature has dumped snow at
Tignes, where glacier skiing has been available since September. 5/6 lifts are currently open, with a snow base of 50cm at the top. The rest of the Espace Killy will open on November 25 with the link to
Val d'Isère.

Powder everywhere at Les 3 Vallées
Les Trois Vallées
opens for the season on December 9, but in light of the copious snowfall,
Val Thorens
will open exceptionally for a week starting this Saturday, November 18.

Celebrating the ski season opening in style
Ischgl
kicks off the season on November 25 with one of their legendary Top of the Mountain Concerts, this time featuring German singer Andrea Berg.
Gurgl
will also be opening with a bang, throwing an opening bash this Thursday, November 16. The slopes look well-groomed and ready to go!
Ski resorts across Austria inundated in snow
St. Anton am Arlberg
has a projected opening date of December 1 but has already received plenty of snow, as has the
Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn.
Sölden-Hochsölden-Vent
will be open for business this Friday, November 17.

Over at
Mayrhofen, the ski season is expected to begin on December 2. The
SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental
is not expected to open until December 8 but already has a 50cm snow base.
