Jungholz (Austria)

Pretty much on the German border lies the quiet ski resort of Jungholz. Many Germans visit for the weekend to ski with their families but during the week a serene tranquillity prevails. The small, neatly organised ski area is particularly popular among families. Much attention is paid to small details: there is children's day care centre, an igloo play area, a snow merry-go-round and a lot more. Junhgolz has several cafes but apart from these, the après-ski is not really worthy of mention.
