St. Veit im Defereggental (Austria)

The village of St. Veit is located at 1500 meters of altitude in a pleasant setting. This ski resort is ideal for families with children as there is a toboggan adventure area in the centre of the village. From St. Veit you can take the ski bus to the Brunnalm and Staller Stattel ski areas. There are many good cross-country trails within the vicinity of the village and each year, the Schwarzach cross-country race,is organized here in March. There are also sleigh rides organized here.
