Spital am Pyhrn (Austria)

Spital am Pyhrn is a pleasant village with a famous Baroque church. The ski area, located in the Pyhrn-Priel-Gebiet, begins just outside the village. This area is great for intermediate skiers with mainly red runs with the highest point just above the tree line in Frauenkar. A chair lift from the Frauenkar carries you to a red run. Spital has a beautiful trail round to Windischgarten and back, and a beautiful circuit trail on top of the Wurzeralm. But the 'Bigfoot' hiking is particularly recommended here.
