Hochfilzen (Austria)

At the heart of the Kitzbüheler Alps lies Hochfilzen. This ski resort is part of the Fieberbrunn ski area. Hochfilzen clearly has two different characters. The traditional village centre with its typical buildings compared to the modern atmosphere and places of entertainment around the lift station. Nevertheless, ski fun is more important than the après-ski; Hochfilzen welcomes families in particular. The ski area consists of more than 30 kilometres of ski slopes while the half pipe is floodlit (depending on snow conditions).
