The Pillerseetal ski area is made up of 3 skiing areas (Fieberbrunn/Streuböden, Buchensteinwand/Pillersee, Waidring/Steinplatte). Despite being situated next to the famous resorts of Kitzbühel and Saalbach-Hinterglemm, Fieberbrunn idoes not suffer an inferiority complex. The rural ambience, the many welcoming bars and restaurants, the picturesque paths and extraordinary Tyrolean atmosphere are all excellent reasons for choosing to spend a ski holiday in this charming valley. The Pillerseetal ski area offers 95km of slopes.
Fieberbrunn has nearly 20 ski lifts and a ski area with more than 60km of slopes, from easy ones for beginners to a limited but interesting choice of blacks and many off-piste runs for the more demanding skier. The Fieberbrunn has earned a reputation as a top freeride destination with excellent lift-accessible freeride terrain. Fieberbrunn hosts Austria’s Big Mountain competition which attracts the world’s top riders - they wouldn't come here for nothing.
