The ski resort Igls is a just steps away from the famous town of Innsbruck. The village center consists of a handful of hotels, a church, several restaurants and a few shops. This is a typical Tyrolean village where you can still feel that authentic, intimate atmosphere. You do not come to Igls for après-ski but for rest amidst a breathtaking mountain world!
Igls has its own ski area on the slopes of the Olympic Patscherkofel (with its peak at 2250m). This ski area offers 18 kilometers of ski slopes especially suitable for beginners. Advanced skiers who are looking for more challenging skiing need to go further afield to ski resorts on the Stubai Glacier, Schlick 2000 or [IL: ATTIRO20]. Walkers can also discover some wonderful paths in the wooded area of Igls.
