Ski area Obertauern

In this charming environment with guaranteed snow cover, where the ski season is opened and closed with spectacular parties, everything is within walking distance. Many kilometres of diverse downhill runs of varied difficulty are available for all tastes and desires. The ski lifts are all nearby and can be easily reached from almost everyone's door step.

The ski area of Obertauern is overlooked by the spectacular mountain peaks and the slopes of the Radstädter Tauern. Almost 100km of well-prepared, well-organised slopes lead right back to the resort making this a great place for a no-stress ski holiday. Most ski slopes are north and south-facing with the main skiing areas around the Tauernrunde ‘bowl’. Facilities for snowboarders are a little limited, but with a good number the excellent high altitude slopes, no-one will feel the need to complain!
