St. Anton im Montafon, not to be confused with [IL: ATTIRO076], is at the front of the Montafon and does not have its own ski area. However, the slopes of [IL: ATVORA017] and [IL: ATVORA024] are nearby so you only have a short car or ski bus ride to reach some lovely ski slopes. Other reasons to choose St. Anton im Montafon as a winter sports holiday destination are its accessibility and affordable accommodation.

The ski areas of the Montafon area suitable for every skier. Advanced skiers probably opt for the slopes of Silvretta Montafon, the largest ski area in Vorarlberg. Beginners and children feel more at home on the Golm and in [IL: ATVORA009]. St. Anton im Montafon is a great winter sports destination but keep in mind that you are dependent on your car or the ski bus.
