As if time has stopped. Gaschurn-Partenen is an authentic Austrian village that has managed to protect its image despite tourism. For years the village has been extremely popular for family ski holidays because of its compactness and price levels. Partenen is a few kilometres past Gaschurn, however, both villages are linked together. This slightly remote village provides excellent ski options because of the direct access to the Silvretta Nova ski area. This vast area is very popular among ski mountaineering fanatics although beginners can also have a great time because of the quiet ski slopes.

“Not too much to do down in the village but once you go up the mountain then the skiing is great. Ski school worked well for our children and they went from non-skiers to competent thrill seekers in a week. ”
