Ski area Kaunertal

The Kaunertal Glacier is located in beautiful, unspoilt mountain scenery. The ski area is generally quiet and offers great wide blue and red runs and a challenging black descent. The Kaunertal glacier can be reached in half an hour from Feichten by bus or car. You will even appreciate the drive all the way to the glacier via a beautiful mountain road.

On the Kaunertal glacier are wonderful off-piste routes (only to be taken with a guide) and there is a fun park for freestylers. The ski resort of Fendels is a typical family resort where there are lovely sheltered walks through the forest. Once a week the there is a floodlit slope open so you can ski in the evening or go tobogganing. The prices in the area are very family friendly.
